Open Source Project: ViewFlipper

Today, I published another project to my github repo.
I call it 'ViewFlipper' (yeah great names never were one of my strengths).

Basically, it is a design exercise with code. I found a decent interaction over here and wanted to implement my own interpretation of it.

Here you can see what the result looks like

Animated gif image of the interaction.

These kind of interaction can be used to present some covers, cards or profile pictures. As you can see, I didn't had a goal to accomplish but were interested in the process of making such an prototype.

I made great efford to comment as many lines as possible to give you a clear understanding of what is happening. In fact, this is part of my new goal be as descriptive and explanatory as possible as your code is not primary written for computers to execute but for humans to understand.

I would be happy if you take a look at the project and let me know what you think :)

May I introduce you to the episode of Design Exercise that was the greates joy to make?

Picture of my design exercise - Iron Man

Honestly, I wanted to make such an picture for a long time. I was afraid of not beeing capable to do so because of the complicated shapes and forms of Iron Man's suite.
Well, I've tried and now I am very proud of the result ☺️.
I think, it is the most beautiful picture I have made yet.
